Just in time for Mother’s Day, meet the precious baby James. At just 4 weeks old this little guy is already posing for the camera. There’s something really magical about taking pictures of newborns. They are so incredibly unaware of what is going on around them and yet when we took pictures of this little guy he couldn’t help but look into the lens and pose. I especially love the shot of his mother holding him up. Happy Mother’s Day to all the lovely parents out there!

This engagement session with Monica and Sumeet was really fun as we braved the weather and strolled down The Esplanade, through the BCE place and ended up at The King Edward Hotel. Sumeet flew in all the way from London for this! He wasn’t expecting it too be so chilly. Thank god for Starbucks:) We can’t wait for this union!

What a fun wedding this was! From the photo shoot at Chinguacousy Park where Rick gave swords to all the groomsmen, to the belly dancers at the reception. This couple kept the entertainment going all night long, Rick even serenaded Mirna while playing a solo on the guitar.

John and Sarah’s wedding at the Grand Chalet was so moving and emotional. This is a couple that has overcome some major obstacles and found each other. This wedding was so touching and full of love, we are very happy that we could be apart of John and Sarah’s wonderful day.

Giulia and Steve Engagement Shoot, Historic Unionville, Baseball Theme

Our first baseball theme in Historic Unionville. I love when couples have ideas for themes, especially when it has to do with how they met. Giulia and Steve met while playing baseball, so it was a natural choice for them to do a baseball theme for their engagement shoot. Although they started of with more formal clothes, this couple was relaxed and giggling all through the shoot. It’s great when a couple makes each other laugh this much! Even though it got quite chilly, Steve braved it through the weather and put on his jersey. I especially like the use of the baseball as a save the date keepsake. What a unique idea.

Johnny and Nita, Wedding, Islington United Church, Platinum Convention Centre

Here are a few pics from Johnny and Nita’s intimate wedding. This couple is so full of energy and they were really excited to get married in the morning. Both of them were relaxed from beginning to end. The Islington United Church where their ceremony took place was so beautiful. After the ceremony we had a fun couples shoot at a park nearby, Johnny was literally jumping for joy:) So passionate about life, they couldn’t have been more happy on their wedding day.

Thanksgiving weekend in Canada is usually cold and not so sunny. But this long weekend was nothing but warm weather and sunny skies. Perfect weather for John and Sarah as we shot in Chinguacousy Park in Brampton. What an awesome couple! All smiles and so peaceful. Days like this really make our job easy. Can’t wait for this wedding!
